While preparing this collection, I had forgotten how much significant footage I shot while here.  Not only is this where I ventured into the rice paddies, but where I shot the power dam, spent the evening on the riverside with the locals, and best of all, was mesmerized by the local performance troop. Music! Music! If you want traditional music, get this one!

Cần Thơ - Mekong Delta (can•toh - mee•kong)

Riverboat taxis. Floating markets. Life on the muddy waters of the Mekong River. Incredibly fascinating. Includes Can Tho and a floating market (Chợ nổi Cái Răng - Cần Thơ).

Hà Nội (hah•noy)

Hà Nội used to be a bit far north in my mind. There’s just something about the South - even the Phở tastes better down there. But over the years I’ve essentially given that up. I have grown to love the expanded climate and culture of Hà Nội. They lead Vietnam in many ways, yet are surprisingly more traditional than Sister Sài Gòn.

Huế, Imperial City (hway)

From the colored lighting on the bridges at night to the breath-taking Perfume River, it’s no wonder that Thành Phố Huế is a World-Heritage site. The tombs and temples are exquisite and rich with history; captivating. To my surprise, one of the grandest memories I have of Vietnam was simply waking up with Hué. I hopped on a motor-bike and discovered many a lane packed with all the wonders of waking up...

Hồ Chí Minh (ho•chee•min)

Port City. Cyclo rides. Motor bikes laden with block ice or farm animals. Hustle. Bustle. Open air markets. Phở. Cu Chi tunnels. The first time I was in Saigon, I was amazed at the organic nature of the traffic and the free-flow of goods from every conceivable nook and cranny. I am, to this day, impressed with these ever industrious, hard-working people.
